Emma Prendergast

My name is Emma Prendergast. As of July 2023, I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Utah Tech University. I received my PhD in philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023. In 2022-2023, I was a Charlotte W. Newcombe Fellow.

I teach and write about social, moral, and political philosophy. I'm also interested in feminist philosophy, philosophy of education, history of philosophy, and epistemology (especially political epistemology). Outside philosophy, I enjoy outdoor activities (especially hiking, canoeing, and cycling) and the musical arts (especially songwriting, singing, guitar, ukulele, and listening).
